Miracles of Sandalwood for Curing Dry Skin in Winter

Dry skin is a very common problem in winter. It causes allergies of many types makes hair dull and dry. The main cause of dry skin is that in winter water intake reduces; resultantly water level in the body reduces which gives birth to dry skin and hair. In winter many lotions and creams are used to keep skin moisturized. Different types of chemicals which may be injurious to the skin are used in the preparation of such moisturizers. Therefore, the use of natural products to cure dry skin is preferable. Sandalwood is also called Chandan. Applying Sandalwood powder and milk mixture increases face beauty.
Sandalwood is a yellowish aromatic wood. Its powder, oil, and paste have many medicinal benefits and are very useful to cure dry skin. It is used in aromatherapy; it relieves tension and stress. It also cures eczema, allergy, and scars. It is also used in many products like air fresheners, mouthwash, fragrances, soaps, lotions, and creams for a long time. Many elements found in sandalwood are very helpful for the body and skin. Sometimes it is used in milk to make skin glow. It may also be used as a facial mask by mixing with rosewater. Spraying your face with water and gently removing this mask by massage imparts freshness to the skin. Its facemask can be used for all types of skins.
Sandalwood is a class of woods from trees in the genus Santalum. It has other names as well like white, red, yellow, or East Indian sandalwood. In Asia, it is specifically used for beautification. It is also used in cookery. It is protein-rich and is also used as an anti-septic by adding certain other chemicals to it. Pure sandal oil is very expensive and is occasionally used. Sandalwood trees grow in summer and moist weather. Sandalwood oil is usually used in cooking. It is used in aroma therapy, relieves stress and tension.
